Frequently Asked Questions
Answers about AI Try-On, escrow, deliveries, rentals, onboarding, privacy, and more.
Is the Oma.ng app available now?
Not yet—we’re in pre-launch. Join the waitlist to be among the first 1,000 early users and receive exclusive product discounts when we go live.
How do I join the waitlist and get the discount?
Submit your email on the waitlist page. The first 1,000 customers to join will receive discount codes via email when we launch. No spam—only launch updates.
What is AI Virtual Try-On?
It lets you preview wigs, hair, and outfits on your face/body using your phone camera or a clear photo. It reduces guesswork and improves fit and style confidence before you buy or rent.
How accurate is AI Try-On?
It’s an approximation for style, length, and color—not a 100% guarantee. Lighting, pose, and photo quality affect results. Always check vendor sizing and product details before checkout.
How does escrow work on Oma.ng?
Your payment is held securely in escrow after checkout. We release funds to the vendor only after the delivery is confirmed and you accept the item’s condition. If there’s an issue, you can open a dispute within the review window.
What payment methods do you support?
Major cards, bank transfers, and supported wallets at launch (Nigeria-friendly options). All payments run through secure gateways with encryption and fraud checks.
What fees do buyers and vendors pay?
Buyers: no extra fee beyond shipping and optional services (e.g., rental insurance if selected).
Vendors: platform fees may be commission per sale or subscription for premium visibility—final pricing will be communicated before launch.
Vendors: platform fees may be commission per sale or subscription for premium visibility—final pricing will be communicated before launch.
Who handles deliveries?
Vetted third-party logistics partners handle pickups and drop-offs. Orders are assigned by proximity, tracked in real time, and require OTP/QR verification at handoff for security.
How fast is delivery?
Speed depends on distance, vendor prep time, and rider availability. You’ll see an ETA at checkout and live tracking after pickup. Express options may be available in select cities.
What if my order is delayed or damaged?
Contact support in-app. Do not accept damaged items—report immediately with photos. Escrow lets us pause payout to the vendor while we resolve the issue.
Can I rent hair, wigs, or fashion items?
Yes. Eligible items show a “Rent” option with rental price, deposit (if any), return window, and cleaning policy. Returns are handled via our delivery partners or designated drop-off points.
How do rental deposits and returns work?
A refundable deposit may apply. After the item is returned on time and passes condition checks, the deposit is released. Late, lost, or damaged items may incur fees per the vendor’s policy.
What is your return and dispute policy?
You can raise a dispute within the review window after delivery. Provide photos/videos and a short description. We mediate between buyer and vendor using evidence, product page details, and delivery logs.
How do vendors join Oma.ng?
Complete vendor registration (business details, ID/KYC, bank info), agree to our policies, and set up your storefront. You can list items for sale or rent, manage inventory, and receive orders in-app.
What are vendor requirements?
Valid ID and verifiable contact, accurate product descriptions, clear photos, fair return policy, reliable fulfillment, and adherence to our quality and authenticity standards.
Can vendors choose commission or subscription?
Yes. Vendors can opt for a commission-only model or subscribe for premium visibility and lower per-sale fees. Exact plans and rates will be shared before launch.
Do you have a rider/driver app?
Yes. Our rider onboarding collects ID/KYC, CAC (if company), bike photos, plate numbers, and insurance when applicable. Riders receive proximity-based jobs with in-app navigation and proof-of-delivery.
Is there a community or support space?
Yes—Circle, our community space, lets users share feedback, tips, and ideas. It’s moderated by admins and tied to your account for safer interactions.
How do you protect my data?
We follow Nigerian data privacy laws and best practices: encryption in transit, limited access, and KYC data stored securely. We never sell personal data. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Is Oma.ng a registered business in Nigeria?
Yes. Oma.ng is registered in Nigeria and complies with consumer protection, fair trade, and applicable e-commerce regulations.
Will there be both web and mobile apps?
Yes. We’re launching mobile first, with a web experience following. Your account and orders sync across platforms.
How can I partner with Oma.ng?
We welcome partnerships with vendors, stylists, delivery firms, and creators. Use the Contact form to share your proposal and we’ll get back to you.
